Antriebstechnik Worldwide News Subsidiary in Eindhoven strengthens Faulhaber’s presence in Benelux Faulhaber establishes its new distribution company to cater the demands of Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands. The newly-established distribution company is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Faulhaber was previously represented in these three countries by Minimotor Benelux. “We can now look after the markets in this region directly from our own company. Furthermore, we are strengthening our strategic presence in an important export HydraForce moves to new facility in HydraForce, an international manufacturer of electrohydraulic controls, has moved into a brand new 11,150 sq.meters facility in the Advanced Manufacturing Hub in Birmingham. The new facility adds 7,000 sq.meters of manufacturing capacity. The three-story building has production and testing areas on the ground floor, engineering, sales offices and training areas on the first and second floors. HydraForce is the first tenant of Birmingham’s Advanced Manufacturing Hub, one of six economic zones identified by the City Council to drive Birmingham’s future growth ambitions. The privately-owned company operates a total of five manufacturing facilities, including the new facility in Birmingham, its corporate headquarters, innovation center, and precision machining center in North America and a manifold assembly plant in Asia. The new facility will improve speed to market, not just to the UK, but throughout Europe, as more than 80 % of the products built in Birmingham will be exported. This expansion also means an increase in job opportunities. Employment at HydraForce in Birmingham is expected to increase from 280 to 500 people by 2018. Nanotec increases production capacities in China market. German motor manufacturer Nanotec is increasing its production areas in China. In early June 2105, Nanotec’s Chinese subsidiary moved its production of motor controllers, Plug & Drive motors with integrated controller, and linear actuators into a new building in ChangZhou. In July the stepper and BLDC motor production will also be moved into a larger building with a total area of 18,000 m 2 on the same site. With the move Nanotec expects to increase production capacities by a further 50 % in the next two years. Only last year Nanotec opened a second development site in Pegnitz, Germany, where the focus is primarily on the development of new motor controllers and sensors. Birmingham, England Bonfiglioli’s premiers in Shanghai Power transmission specialists, Bonfiglioli Group inaugurated its new workshop in Qingpu Industrial Park, Shanghai.
