Worldwide News Hanover Trade Fair 2015: India as Partner Country India is the partner country of the Hanover trade fair 2015. Thus, the country with its more than 1.2 bn people will move into the focus on the most important industrial trade fair in the world next year. “India is an up-and-coming economic power that opens up an enormous sales potential for the German and international exhibitors of Hanover trade fair,” says Dr. Jochen Köckler, member of the board of Deutsche Messe AG. “At the same time, we offer even more exhibitors from India access to new global markets. In the end, exhibitors, visitors and the trade fair site of Hanover all benefit from this attractive partner country in the end.” There were mostly three reasons for this choice: the still strongly-growing Indian economy, the long-term good relationships between the German and Indian companies and the positive experience with India as a partner country of the trade fair in 2006 . Magnet-Schultz completes its 102 nd business year Magnet-Schultz Memmingen (MSM)(Germany), special factory for electromagnetic actors and sensors, completed its 102 nd business year with strong growth on 30 June 2014. MSMgroup employed 2475 persons in June 2014, achieving an external turnover of 350 M Euro in its 102 nd business year; for the 103 rd business year, they are planning to reach 385 M Euro. The growth is carried by present and new customers. The high-tech innovation in Automotive, Aerospace, Automation and Medical Technology continues. 20 years of Nord in the Czech Republic The Nord Drivesystems subsidiary in the Czech Republic celebrates its 20 th anniversary this year. Nord Pohánĕcí Technika, s.r.o. has become an established partner for the machine building and construction industries amongst other sectors. In 1994, a sales office was established in Hradec Králové. Porto Alegre will host the 2 nd edition of RENEX South America The only event that brings together all segments of the renewable energy sector in one place with the aim of presenting industry news, trends, innovation, ideas and investment attraction to Brazil and Latin America. KTR is building a new R & D centre in Rheine KTR continues to expand its headquarters in Rheine (Germany) building a new R & D centre with a multifunctional assembly hall. State of the art work places are developed covering 8,800 square meters. The completion is scheduled for March 2015. The R&D centre will be one of the most advanced technology centres in North Rhine-Westphalia. KTR is realizing the biggest investment project in the company history building the R&D centre. „The Power Transmission Center (PTC) is another milestone in our business activities emphasizing the importance of our designing and development work for the KTR group of companies”, Prof. Dr. Josef Gerstner, General Managing Director of KTR, explains. Power Transmission components like mechanical couplings, torque limiters and torque measuring shafts as well as hydraulic components such as bellhousings, oil tanks and damping elements will be developed, tested and assembled in the R & D centre in the future.
