The Versamove ultra design can transport pallets with dimensions of up to 1,200 × 1,200 mm and a weight of 300 kg per pallet. The pallets are also available with imbedded RFID chips. The operator can choose between three different double-lane conveyors. The timing belt conveyor is well suited for fast cycle operation, a high level of accuracy and smooth running performance. The accumulating roller conveyor is also available. As a third option, the manufacturer has developed a double-lane conveyor with a side-flexing flat top chain. The system is completed with lift and transfer conveyors and lift and rotate units. A pneumatically operated short stroke lift can bridge height differences of 200 to 600 mm. www.mk-group.com H+H Herrmann + Hieber modernizes goods receipt at tegut Flexibility with Open Shuttles www.knapp.com tegut... gute Lebensmittel GmbH & Co. KG has modernized the Group’s central warehouse. During the first phase of the measures that involved retrofitting goods receipt, the company opted for H+H Herrmann + Hieber. The design ensures that the delivered pallets continue to be placed on one of eight quadruple roller tracks arranged in parallel to one another within goods receipt. At the end of this buffer stretch, a newly developed mobile trolley takes over the pallets and transports them to the pre-storage area. Four chain conveyors are installed on the low-profile trolleys. Transfer to the transport stretch of the warehouse takes place by way of a chain conveyor and four distribution stations. All of the work was completed within ten days. The system was placed into operation on schedule and at a higher throughput rate compared to the old equipment. www.herrmannhieber.de The free-moving Open Shuttles of Knapp cover the complex transport networks within the warehouse. Under the motto, “the swarm is where the work is”, the Open Shuttles communicate with each other and autonomously distribute orders among themselves. In combination with the Streamline conveyor system, the Open Shuttle offers the balance between flexibility and performance. 12 f+h Intralogistics f+h Intralogistics 3/2016 3/2016

Control center of problem-solving oriented automation Autonomous Navigation Technology (ANT) from BlueBotics gives industrial trucks and robots mobility. The further development ANT localization+, which is Reduce intralogistics costs permanently Using the free I-SPoT calculation tool, Fronius provides its customers with an overview of the ongoing operating costs associated with their forklift trucks. By taking certain parameters into account, such as the number of weekly charging cycles, electricity price, battery capacities and available charging times, Fronius can calculate the potential savings in terms of energy costs and CO 2 emissions. This enables the user to significantly and permanently reduce their intralogistics costs. www.fronius.com/intralogistik awaiting a patent, is based on the emulation of following lines and tags. Inductive wires, lines or magnetic bands applied to the hall floor are replaced with this solution. In this way existing plants can be retrofitted and the existing building infrastructure used efficiently. www.bluebotics.com Automated guided vehicle for everyone The automated guided vehicle system LEO Locative from the company Bito-Lagertechnik was conceived for load carrier Visionary-B and Visionary-T: OFFERING 3D AT A GLANCE. containers and cardboard boxes weighing of up to 20 kg. Transport across floor spaces follows a visual trace here, which the operator can simply glue to the floor of the warehouse and can also quickly remove or change again. SICK’s new 3D vision sensors offer innovative 3D snapshot technologies for use on industrial trucks: Visionary-B provides intelligent driver assistance in outdoor applications and Visionary-T is a tailor-made solution for use indoors. At all times, the focus is on reliability, ruggedness, and the exact data volume that is actually relevant for your application. We think that’s intelligent. www.sick.com/3d-vision www.bito.com
